Happy Monday Stampers. Today I am featuring the beautiful new set by Stampin' Up! called Wonderful Moments. This set features so many beautiful stamps centered around women and the events we celebrate with them. This stamp set is so versatile because it celebrates birthday, every kind of awesomeness, birth, engagement and wedding. I'm sure you can understand when I say that this is a stamp set that I will hold onto forever.
I combined this stamp with a few other great products, although they are not pictured together in the new catalog. The tufted embossing folder adds just the right amount of texture and creates a softer feel to any card. And the Petal Promenade Designer Series paper is WOW!!!! I will be featuring this paper over on my live facebook on Wednesday of this week at 4:00 p.m. The feed will post here shortly after or you can view it live by heading over to my facebook group on Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. by clicking HERE. Wonderful Moments Stamp Set Item #147529 - photopolymer |
Here are the products I used to create this card:
- Wonderful Moments Photopolymer Stamp Set (item #147529)
- Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper (item #146913)
- Whisper White Cardstock (item #100730)
- Basic Black Cardstock (item #121045)
- Tufted Embossing Folder (item #146335)
- Stampin Blends markers in petal pink light (item #146871), calypso coral light (item #144042), soft suede light/dark combo pack (item #147273)
- Memento Black Ink (item #132709)
- Basic Rhinestones (item #144220)
- Shimmery White Cardstock (item #101910)
- Wink of Stella (item #141897)
Here's how I created this card:
- Cut Whisper White cardstock to 8 1/2" x 5 1/2". Score at 4 1/4. Fold in half and use a bone folder to burnish the crease
- Cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock to 4" x 5 1/4". Spritz cardstock with water and run through the Big Shot using the Tufted Embossing Folder. Attach this piece to the front of the card base.
- Cut a piece of Petal Promenade Designer Series paper to 5 1/4" x 2" and attach to the front of the card as shown.
- Cut a piece of basic black cardstock to 3 1/2" x 3 3/4". Cut a piece of shimmer white cardstock to 3" x 3 1/2"
- Stamp bridge image onto shimmer white card piece cut to 3" x 3 1/2" using memento ink. Stamp greeting as shown using memento ink.
- Color bride using stampin' blends markers listed above. Hair is colored with light and dark soft suede. Skin and bouquet is colored using light petal pink. Color select flowers in the bouquet using calypso coral light.
- Attach the shimmer white card piece to the top of the basic black card piece. Attach to the front of the card using dimensionals.
- Place basic rhinestones onto the upper right corner as shown
I realize that we may not always need a bridal card, but when we do, wouldn't this be a great card to give? And the rest of the set is perfect for lots of other occasions to celebrate women.
