Today's valentine was created using a stamp set from the Stampin' Up! annual catalog called No Bones About It. This stamp set can be used year round for birthday invites and cards, party favors and so much more.
Here's what you need to make this card:
- No Bones about it stamp set
- Heart punch and greeting
- white embossing powder, versamark ink and heat tool
- whisper white card base cut at 4 1/4" x 11"
- real red cardstock cut at 4" x 3"
- whisper white cardstock cut at 2 3/4" x 3 3/4"
- sending love designer series stack cut at 2" x 4 1/4"
- cucumber crush ink (item 138324)
- 3/4" stitched satin ribbon (item 141693)
Fold the 4 1/4 x 11 whisper white cardstock in half, securing the fold with a bone folder. Adhere the 3" x 4" real red cardstock to the whisper white card base leaving a 1/4" margin at the top. Stamp the dinosaur image onto the 2 3/4" x 3 3/4" whisper white cardstock, using cucumber crush ink. Stamp a greeting onto the heart with versamark ink, then coat with white embossing power. Set the powder using the heat tool. Adhere the heart to the upper left of the dinosaur and draw a balloon string using a black marker. Adhere the whisper white piece onto the real red. Next adhere the designer paper onto the bottom half of the card, leaving 1/4" of the card base showing at the bottom edge. Lastly, wrap the satin ribbon around the card and tie a knot to complete the card. Now you are ready to send it off to your favorite valentine.
