Stampin' Up! Colorful Seasons gives us so many colorful seasons

For today's card I am featuring a Stamp set called Colorful Seasons.  I just love the versatility of this set.  You can create winter, fall, spring and summer cards all from one set.  And if  you like to scrapbook, this set is a must.  Stampin' Up! has created a whole suite for this set, The Color Theory Suite, which includes 6x6 paper stack, glimmer dots and ribbons.  Stampin' Up! is offering this set as a bundle, saving you 10%.    Here is what the bundle (item #145348)  looks like:

Here's what I used to create my card:

  • 5 1/2 x 8 1/2" card base in Always Artichoke
  • 4" x 5 1/4" cardstock in always artichoke
  • Petal Burst Embossing folder (item #141493)
  • 1" x 5 1/4" very vanilla
  • largest circle cut from stitched framelits
  • assorted leaves cut in crushed curry, tangerine tango, cherry cobbler and gold glimmer paper

How to create the card:

  • score the card base at 4 1/4"  and use a bone folder the make a good crease
  • insert the 4" x 5 1/4"always artichoke  cardstock into the embossing folder and run through the big shot
  • attach the embossed piece to the front of the card base
  • attach the 1" x 5 1/4" very vanilla strip to the front of the card as shown
  • stamp the greeting onto the stitched framelet circle and attach using dimensionals
  • arrange the cut leaves and attach to the front of the card as shown
  • tie a bow using linen thread and attach with a glue dot
I hope you enjoyed today's card.  It's hard to believe that fall is just around the corner and soon we will be feeling cooler weather.    After being in the hot Florida heat for several months, I could sure use some cooler weather.

Happy Stamping,

Debbie
