For today's card I am featuring a Stamp set called Colorful Seasons. I just love the versatility of this set. You can create winter, fall, spring and summer cards all from one set. And if you like to scrapbook, this set is a must. Stampin' Up! has created a whole suite for this set, The Color Theory Suite, which includes 6x6 paper stack, glimmer dots and ribbons. Stampin' Up! is offering this set as a bundle, saving you 10%. Here is what the bundle (item #145348) looks like:
Here's what I used to create my card:
- 5 1/2 x 8 1/2" card base in Always Artichoke
- 4" x 5 1/4" cardstock in always artichoke
- Petal Burst Embossing folder (item #141493)
- 1" x 5 1/4" very vanilla
- largest circle cut from stitched framelits
- assorted leaves cut in crushed curry, tangerine tango, cherry cobbler and gold glimmer paper
How to create the card:
- score the card base at 4 1/4" and use a bone folder the make a good crease
- insert the 4" x 5 1/4"always artichoke cardstock into the embossing folder and run through the big shot
- attach the embossed piece to the front of the card base
- attach the 1" x 5 1/4" very vanilla strip to the front of the card as shown
- stamp the greeting onto the stitched framelet circle and attach using dimensionals
- arrange the cut leaves and attach to the front of the card as shown
- tie a bow using linen thread and attach with a glue dot
Happy Stamping,
Debbie
