Let's Have a Cuppa Coffee together

Stampin' Up! Coffee Cafe Bundle

I adore this new stamp set that Stampin' Up! created for the 2017 Annual Catalog.  I don't even drink coffee and I love it!!!  You could create coffee drinks, of course, but also hot cocoa, cola drinks and frozen icee drinks.   As you can see from the bundle above, there are framelits for many of the stamped images.

This bundle will be great for giving someone special a gift certificate to their favorite coffee shop.   There is even a framelit that creates a corrugated piece that keeps your hands from getting too hot while holding your favorite drink.  The coordinated designer paper makes it so easy to create beautiful cards.

Here's what I used to create this card:

  • polka dot basics embossing folder (item #143709)
  • Coffee Cafe Bundle  (item #145331)
  • Crumb cake cardstock cut at 8 1/2" x 5 1/2"
  • whisper white cardstock cute at 4" x 5 1/4"
  • espresso cards stock cut at 3" x 4 1/2"
  • coffee break designer paper (item #144155)
  • small scrap of espresso cardstock for cup wrap
  • expresso and garden green ink
  • linen thread
  • dimensionals

Here's how I made the card:

  • score crumb cake cardstock at 4 1/4". Fold in half and use bone folder to secure the creased edge
  • place the 4" x 5 1/4" piece of whisper white cardstock into the polka dot embossing folder and run through the big shot
  • cut a piece of the striped designer paper at 1 1/2" x 4" and attach as shown
  • attach the piece of espresso cardstock as shown
  • cut a piece of the circle designer paper at 3" x 4 1/2" and attach as shown
  • stamp cup and lid using espresso ink and cut with framelits using the big shot
  • using the piece of scrap espresso cardstock, cut the corrugated holder for the front
  • stamp the greeting "thanks a latte" and cut with the framelit.
  • attach the lid to the top of the cup and the corrugated piece to the front of the card using Tombo glue,  and the greeting to the top of the corrugated piece using a dimensional
  • tie a bow around the cup using linen threat
  • attach the cup to the front of the card using dimensionals
I hope you have enjoyed this coffee cafe project today.  If you need supplies for this, or any other project, I would love to be your demonstrator.  Please visit my store by clicking RIGHT HERE
