Springtime Foils Specialty Paper
It's hard to believe that Sale-a-Bration is coming to an end. There are only 17 more days to place an order and choose FREE items of your choice. Did you know that Stampin' Up! recently added more FREE products to choose from? Click here to view of all of the new FREE product to choose from with your $50.00 or $100.00 order.
Have you seen the Springtime foils Specialty Designer Paper? This paper is free with a $50.00 order during Sale-a-Bration. The image above just doesn't do this paper justice and it's very difficult to get a great image. So I thought I would share a project I made today using this paper. To add color, you can use Stampin' Blends markers, a dauber and ink, watercolor pencils or regular markers. The foil colors are gold, silver and copper. They are absolutely beautiful.
Can you see the copper foil outline of the flowers? I am in love with these papers.
Here's what I used to create my card:
- rich razzleberry cardstock cut at 8 1/2" x 5 1/2"
- Springtime foils specialty designer series paper (item #147193 - FREE with a $50.00 order)
- Stampin' blends markers in Rich Razzleberry light (item #144584) and old olive (item #144574)
- Copper embossing powder (item #141636)
- Layering Circles (item #141705)
- Rich Razzleberry cardstock cut to 1" x 4"
- Whisper white cardstock cut to 1" x 3 1/2"
- Pearl Basic Jewels (item #144219)
- Remarkable You Stamp Set (item #139894)
- Rose Wonder stamp set (item #140697)
Here's how I created my card:
- Score card base at 4 1/4" and fold in half
- Cut the flower design of the springtime foils specialty paper to 4" x 5 1/4"
- color the flowers using stampin' blends markers in rich razzleberry light and old olive light. Attach this piece to the front of the card base
- Cut a circle from the Layering Circles to fit the flower from the Remarkable You stamp set
- stamp image using versamark ink and cover with copper embossing powder. Heat the embossed image until it is shiny
- Attach the strip of rich razzleberry cardstock as shown
- Stamp the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Rose Wonder stamp set and cut a banner on one end. Attach to the front of the card as shown.
- Place 3 Pearl basic jewels as shown using a piercing tool
- Attach the embossed flower to the front of the card using dimensionals.
Happy Stamping,
Debbie
