Stampin' Up! This Little Piggy

I finally had some time to play with the pigs.  Not on the farm but in my craft room.  It was so MUCH fun.  Now that I have created this card, I have so many card ideas running through my crafty little mind.  How cute would a Santa Pig for Christmas be?  What would you create with this fun set of pigs?

What you need to create this card:

  • Powder pink card base cut at 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" scored at 4 1/4"
  • Basic Black cardstock cut at 4" x 5 1/4"
  • Whisper white cardstock cut at 3 3/4" x 5"
  • scrap of powder pink cardstock to stamp 3 pigs
  • crumb cake ink, pool party ink, black ink  and daffodil delight marker
  • this little piggy stamp set and timeless textures stamp set
How to create this card:

  • fold powder pink cardstock on score line
  • adhere basic black cardstock to the front of the card base
  • stamp 3 pigs onto scrap powder pink cardstock and cut out using paper snips
  • using an aqua painter, create sky and mud with pool party and crumb cake ink
  • stamp splotches of mud with the timeless textures stamp set
  • adhere the 3 3/4" x 5" white cardstock to the top of the black cardstock
  • adhere the 3 pigs, standing on top of each other, to the front of the white cardstock
  • ink flower and stem part of the stamp only and stamp onto card as shown.  Use marker to extend the stem if necessary
  • stamp 3 clouds in the sky using pool party ink
  • stamp a greeting using the this little piggy stamp set and banner cut the right edge.  Adhere to card
Now decide who you will send this fun card to, write a greeting inside, sign your name and put it into the mailbox.  Life is short.  Let someone know you are thinking of them and that they make you happy.  Have a most awesome day and I will see you tomorrow.
