A Special Stampin' Up! Challenge

Happy Monday Stampers!!!  Today is an extra special Monday because I am coming to you with a few projects that I am submitting directly to Stampin' Up! to be considered for a very special honor at OnStage this fall.

But first, I would like to interrupt that thought for just one moment and say a very special Happy Birthday to my favorite second daughter, Haleigh Mason.   She is turning 25 years old today and I can hardly believe it. Where does the time go?  Hal, or Hal the Gal as we affectionally call her, is my card making buddy.  She was also a demonstrator for Stampin' Up! until recently when her duties as a bakery owner took over.  She is co owner of a bakery in Lansing, Michigan called Bake n' Cakes. I am so proud of her for all that she has become.  Happy Happy Birthday Hal My Gal.

Onto the Stampin' Up! Challenge.  This fall, Stampin' Up! will celebrate their 30 year anniversary.  How amazing is that?  They are celebrating with an event called OnStage in Orlando, Florida, and I will be there with lot of my stamping friends and teammates.  We will see new product, stamp with our friends, make new friends and mostly HAVE FUN!!! Along with new product, there are always LOTS of display boards demonstrating how to use the new product,  made by demonstrators, just like me.  And this year, I have applied to create a display board as inspiration for my fellow demonstrators.   Here are the projects I will be submitting to Stampin' Up!  Wish me luck!!!

This treat box holds a package of fun Animal Crackers.   I used Shaded Spruce cardstock, along with Animal Expedition Designer Series Paper and the Animal Outing stamp set.  Did you notice the cute In Color Binder Clips in Call Me Clover?

I love the color combination of this card I created for my grandma's 98th Birthday this year.  This card features three new colors added to our color palette this year, including Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather and Granny Apple Green.  I used the  Abstract Impressions stamp set to create the flowers and sentiment.

Are you ready to start creating Christmas?  I know I am.  This gorgeous box was created using the Silver Mini Gable boxes,  Pretty Pines Thinlit Dies and the Under The Mistletoe Designer Series Paper.  I can't wait to put some treats inside and give it away.

The beauty of the Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper takes my breath away.  I paired the designer paper with the Wonderful Moments stamp set to create this beautiful bridal card.  This stamp set is awesome for honoring every celebration of women.

Halloween is my favorite holiday of the year.  Our family enjoys carving pumpkins, going to the cider mill and decorating our yard for the trick-or-treaters.  This 12 x 12 scrapbook layout was created using the upcoming Toil & Trouble Designer Series Paper, Cauldron Framelits Dies,  Cauldron Bubble Stamp Set and the Large Letters Framelits Dies.  You're going to LOVE all of these new products.

This card has so much texture and color and it makes me smile.   I used the Healing Hugs stamp set, Happy Birthday Thinlits Dies and the Layered Leaves dynamic textured impressions embossing folder.   I stamped the flowers using crushed curry ink and added extra color using a sponge dauber and pumpkin pie and poppy parade ink.  I added a few Metallic Sequins for a little more sparkle.

Here are the products I used to create the projects:

  • Metallics Sequin Assortment (item #144214)
  • Happy Birthday Thinlits Die (item #143700)
  • Healing Hugs stamp set (item #146530)

    1. Thank you Nina. I was so excited to see that they still sold the "original" animal crackers from when I was a kid.
