Over the next few weeks I will be highlighting some of the stamp sets that will be soon retiring in order to make way for some brand new exciting products from Stampin' Up! The card above uses the stamp set Gorgeous Grunge and Balloon Adventures (for the greeting). All retiring stamp sets are guaranteed in stock until May 22, 2017. After that date, they are available only while supplies last.
What you need to create this card:
- 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" whisper white card base (scored at 4 1/4" and folded in half)
- 2" x 4 1/4" piece of designer paper
- Layering circle framelits (item number 141705)
- Stitched Framelits (item #145372)
- tempting turquoise, daffodil delight and melon mambo ink
- rhinestone jewels
How I created this card:
- stamp random splotches from the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set onto the whisper white card base
- attach the 2" x 4 1/4" piece of designer paper onto the card base as shown
- stamp greeting from the Balloon Adventures stamp set onto the largest circle in the stitched framelit set using tempting turquoise ink
- Cut the largest scalloped circle using tempting turquoise card stock
- attach the stamped greeting piece to the scalloped circle and attach to the front of the card using dimensionals
- Place rhinestone jewels onto the greeting piece as shown
