Twelve Days of Valentines - #1

Today is post #1 of the 12 days of Valentines.   I created a video post of several cards I designed using the Sealed With Love stamp set that is available in the Stampin' Up! Occasions Catalog.  I just love the look of Valentine colors. Don't you?   For the cards in this video, I used pool party, real red, pink pirouette and melon mambo.  All of the products in this Sending Love Suite coordinate so well to help you make cards that you will feel proud to send to your friends and family.  Be sure to watch the video because I also include a tutorial on how to create one of the cards shown.  There's still time to order products to create your perfect valentines cards and treats.  Head over to my store by clicking on the catalog to the right.  Please use hostess code FAZFYWWP at checkout.

Take me away with the Stampin' Up! Lift me Up bundle

I have been creating with some of my new Stampin' Up! Occasions catalog stamp sets.  There are so many great sets to choose from, I have been having a hard time know which set to use first.  This card was created using the Lift Me Up stamp set and coordinating framelits.  I like this set because it helps me to create a card that can be used for men or women.  It also like this set because of its versatility.  I can send someone love, congratulations, cheer, happy birthday or thanks, all from one stamp set.

I made this card by first starting with a night of navy card base.  I then added a piece of whisper white cardstock cut to 4 x 5 1/4. I cut a piece of the Carried Away DSP (from Sale a bration) at 3 3/4 x 5 and adhered that to the top of the white.  I cut a piece of night of navy at 2 x 3 3/4 and a piece of white at 3 x 3 1/2 to add to the top of the cloud designer paper.  The hot air balloon was cut from the Up & Away framelits,  and I used peekaboo peach, watermelon wonder, mint macaron and daffodil delight for the layering pieces behind the balloon. I cut 2 clouds from the framelits and stamped my greeting directly onto them.   Lastly, I added 3 peekaboo peach in color enamel shapes.   I can't wait to send this birthday card to someone special.

My First Blog Post featuring Stampin' Up! Beautiful You

Welcome to my very first blog post.  I hope you will stop back often to be inspired by my projects using the many fun products that Stampin' Up! has to offer.

Stampin' Up! has a new Occasions catalog, and the designers could not have done a better job with creating so many beautiful stamps, papers and embellishments to choose from.  I created this card using the stamp set Beautiful You,  blushing bride and sahara sand card stock, watercolor pencils and new lace doilies.  I really like how delicate the doilies are, and how they add one more layer of dimension to this card.  To create the sentiment, Live, Laugh, Love, I used my stamp and write markers to ink up just the part of the sentiment I wanted to use for this card.  I hope you have a beautiful day.
