Fall is just around the corner and I’m not going to lie, it’s my favorite time of year. I love the crispness of the air, the smell of falling leaves and baked goods, and, well,  pumpkin everything.  Do you love this time of year too?  It feels like a mini reset in life, even though I know that cold weather is just around the corner.  

Today I am sharing 3 card ideas using one layout. I like it when I can create a card that can be used for several occasions.  This card layout is quick and simple, but you can easily step it up with more layers if you choose.

Carousel Card using Butterfly Gala from Stampin’ Up!

Today is Thursday and normally I would be doing Facebook live, however, I am away and not able to go live with you.  But I wanted to share a video with you anyways, so I hope you enjoy today’s Carousel Card.  I am so excited to share today’s project with you.    It’s a fancy fold card that can be given as a gift, or as a card.  AND this card can be displayed for everyone to see!!!  I hope you will check out the video below.

Supplies needed for today’s project:

• Four 6” x 6” pieces of cardstock (this is for the base of your card)
• Ten pieces of cardstock cut the same color as your card base or white cut at            2 7/8” x 2 7/8”

•  Ten pieces of designer paper cut at 2 3/4” x 2 3/4 

• Four pieces of designer paper (these pieces should coordinate with the above designer paper) cut  at 2 7/8” x 2 7/8” 

• A variety of die cuts that will fit on the panels inside of the card.  Use these pieces for stamping on.

Re Inking your stamp pads and more

It’s happened to all of us.  We’ve stamped the wrong color into our favorite ink pad.  And it’s ruined. But maybe it isn’t.  Watch today’s Technique Tuesday Tip for removing ink when you have stamped the wrong color.   

In this technique video I will also show you some of my favorite tips for re inking your ink pads when they start to dry out.

Bookmark Card for your summer book readers

How to create a Slim Line Envelope

I recently created a new to me card called the Slim Line Card.  It’s tall and slim and gives lots of room to stamp and create a beautiful card.  I also created an envelope to coordinate with the card.  Although you can purchase envelopes, which I have done, I like being able to match my envelope perfectly to the card I created.  You can find the tutorial for the card and the envelope here:

I really like how I can create an envelope to perfectly match every single card that I make.  You can use card stock or designer series paper.  However, you should make sure that your designer paper is not too thin so that it will make it through the mail without tearing.  If you already know how to create the slim line cards, I made a video for creating the envelope only, here:

Playing with Unicorns and Butterflies

The new Stampin’ Up! Catalog is filled with so many fun stamps, punches, inks and papers.  Have you seen it?  I have been busy creating samples from several of the stamp bundles to share with you.  This past week I created with the Hippo Happiness and I have to tell you that this bundle is just my style.  This stamp requires 2 steps to get this fun look on all of the critters.

It’s Almost New Catalog Time

It’s Almost New Catalog Time!!!  Stampin’ Up! Has a brand new catalog that will come out on Wednesday, June 3rd. Mark your calendars because you are NOT going to want to miss out on this catalog kickoff.  The catalog is full of LOTS of fun, beautiful, new products.  Of course, some of our old favorites are there, too.

Did you know that every year, Stampin’ Up! Introduces 5 new In Colors?  These are the 5 new colors.  What do you think?  These colors are Bumblebee, Cinnamon Cider, Just Jade, Magenta Madness and Misty Moonlight and they are going to work great together, but also with all of our current colors.  I can’t wait for you to see them in person.

I created these cards using a few other new products as well.  Celebrate Sunflowers is a new stamp set that features, well, sunflowers.  There’s a large sunflower and a smaller sunflower, several greetings, and they also have coordinating dies.  I also used a brand new designer series paper 6” x 6” paper stack.  These paper packs coordinate with each of the Stampin’ Up! Color Suites.  You’re going to love how they help you create cards quickly and easily.

Butterfly Gala Virtual Class

Hello Stampers!!!  Today I have a beautiful class that I will be offering virtually to you.  A virtual class is an easy way to take a class if you don't live near me, or, during this time while we are under stay at home orders.    This classes uses the beautiful Butterfly Gala stamp set and coordinating punch, along with the Best Dressed Designer Series Paper.

Registration for this class ends on Monday, May 4th.  This means that as of May 4th, payment and registration must be made.  If you would like to register for class, Please message me here and mention the Butterfly Gala Class.

The Virtual class will be held on Monday, May 18th at 7:00 p.m. on my business page Stamp It With Debbie.  If you cannot attend, you can watch the replay at your convenience.  If you do not have Facebook, I will forward the YouTube link to you once the live class has ended. All supplies will be mailed to you (if you are ordering this option) so that you have them BEFORE the virtual class.
